About AAN

Serving Notaries Since 1994

Who We Are

Founded in 1994, the American Association of Notaries began as a membership organization for Texas notaries public. The association quickly gained a reputation as a full-service company. In addition to assisting notaries with the notary application, appointment, training, and bonding processes, the AAN became a trusted source for quality notary seals and supplies. In 2002 the association began to extend its services to other states, with an eye toward supporting notaries throughout the country and maintaining a strong national presence in the notary industry. Today, the American Association of Notaries represents over 80,000 members in all fifty states. We are the voice of notaries nationwide!
